About the class
Spend Saturday in the studio with contemporary jeweller Alida Cappelletta and develop your jewellery practice in a relaxed, hands-on session. This open studio is an opportunity to explore techniques at your own pace whether you’re just starting out or building on existing skills.
Through live demonstrations and personalised guidance, you’ll refine your craftsmanship, experiment with process, and gain confidence working at the bench. The focus is on steady skill-building, creative problem-solving, and discovering new approaches to your making.
Perfect for beginners seeking a supportive introduction, as well as makers looking to sharpen their techniques in an easy, collaborative studio environment.
Students should bring:
-
Apron
-
Enclosed shoes
Students must wear appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes and tie up long hair.
Building Accessibility
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
Should you, or the person you are enrolling for, have any other additional requirements, please include these details when booking. Should you wish to chat to one of our friendly team, feel free to contact Reception on 9432 9555 or email ArtsCentre@fremantle.wa.gov.au to discuss any individual needs.
