About the class

Build your technical jewellery skills in this guided open studio with contemporary jeweller Alida Cappelletta. This course is designed as a space to practise, troubleshoot, and extend your making, with a focus on developing confidence and precision at the bench.

Through demonstrations and tailored guidance, you’ll strengthen your making skills and deepen your understanding of process, with individual support to suit your experience level.

Ideal for beginners building a strong foundation, as well as those with some experience looking to refine their technique in a relaxed and supportive studio environment.

Students should bring:

  • Apron

  • Enclosed shoes

Students must wear appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes and tie up long hair.

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.

We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.

Should you, or the person you are enrolling for, have any other additional requirements, please include these details when booking. Should you wish to chat to one of our friendly team, feel free to contact Reception on 9432 9555 or email ArtsCentre@fremantle.wa.gov.au to discuss any individual needs.
