Ruby Delgado
Ruby Delgado explores the big and little moments in life through music. Blending influences of contemporary folk, rock, latin and jazz, she creates a unique landscape of sound. An exciting new act in the Boorloo/ Perth scene, Ruby has been likened to Kate Bush, Hiatus Kaiyote and Jeff Buckley, but taps into something altogether original and raw. Her recent single, Rosemary Oil, is a raw, demo style live recording; reflecting on the wonder and imperfection of the world around us every day. With her dynamic quartet, they create an enticing performance taking listeners on an emotionally driven journey.
Lake Mammoth
Lake Mammoth play a loose brand of instrumental Psychedelic Western Noir with a hint of space funk and rock. Born on Wadandi country and based in Boorloo and Wyalup the band are exploring musical boundaries and rarely play a song the same with their experimental and improvisational tendancies.
Instrumental grooves that cut deep.
Snake Canyon is the latest release from Lake Mammoth – a slice of instrumental psych that will etch in your brain. Elements of jazz, funk, dub and rock come together on this spacey groove. Echo drenched guitars floating on a funky bass heavy bed sending the vibes into the outer realms.
The band will be sending their echo drenched tunes out into the Freo Arts Centre garden on Sunday November 22nd November and you can grab a copy of the tune from Lake Mammoth’s Bandcamp site right now – Snake Canyon | Lake Mammoth.
