Welcome to the Creative Cohort
Creative Cohort is a free network for people who make arts and culture happen in Walyalup Fremantle and beyond. It connects artists, makers, producers and creative workers with local opportunities, useful resources and each other, through the Creative Cohort newsletter and events including Producer Tuesdays. Whether you’re building a creative career, developing your practice, working behind the scenes or just beginning to find your place in the sector, you’re welcome here.

WHO IS THE CREATIVE COHORT FOR?
Creative Cohort is for anyone working in, or working towards, a creative practice or career.
That includes:
- People who make creative work – artists, writers, musicians, performers, designers, photographers and makers
- People who make creative work happen – producers, curators, arts administrators, project coordinators and others working behind the scenes
- People building a creative practice or career – including students and emerging creatives
- Creative businesses and organisations working across arts and culture
You don’t need to earn your entire living from your creative work or have years of experience behind you. If creativity is part of what you do, or what you’re working towards, you’re part of the cohort.

Producer Tuesdays
Networking and shared learning for the people who make arts happen.
Producer Tuesdays are free, facilitated monthly meet-ups for people who produce, administrate, manage, coordinate or otherwise help bring arts and cultural projects to life. They’re a place to meet other people working across the creative industries, exchange practical knowledge and talk honestly about the opportunities and challenges that come with making creative work happen.
A typical Producer Tuesday includes:
- Informal networking
- A facilitated discussion on a practical topic
- Time to exchange experience, ideas and advice
- An “Ask and Offer” session, where you can request or offer help, feedback, skills or connections
Producer Tuesdays take place on the last Tuesday of each month from April to September. Attendance is free, but registration is encouraged.
