Dear Maryann
Dear Maryann, are a Perth based indie/folk duo blending warm acoustic guitar with close vocal harmonies. Inspired by artists like Lizzy McAlpine and Searows, their sound sits in the space between modern indie/folk and heartfelt singersongwriter storytelling. Fresh to the WA music scene, the pair met at university and bonded over their shared love for songwriting in 2025. Dear Maryann takes their listeners on a journey through their experiences of love, growing up and life in all of its colours.
Jamie Turner
Jamie Turner is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter from Perth, Western Australia, who creates nostalgic, analog-driven folk rock music. Writing, recording, and producing all his music from his home studio, Hum Drum, Jamie uses a variety of analogue recording gear to capture the warmth, character, and timeless imperfections that defin his sound. Inspired by artists such as Emitt Rhodes, Todd Rundgren, Paul McCartney & Harry Nilsson, Jamie’s music combines classic songwriting craftsmanship with rich, home-crafted production. His songs resonate with a vintage charm while maintaining a deeply personal touch, inviting listeners into his world of textured melodies and heartfelt storytelling. While studio work remains his primary focus, Jamie brought his music to audiences on a 17-date tour across the UK and Europe in 2024, showcasing his intimate, thoughtful sound live. His dedication to analogue techniques and solo artistry makes each track a carefully crafted journey into the warmth of classic influences reimagined for today.
