Analogue, digital, acoustic and synthetic sounds seamlessly combine in Procession, a luminous collaboration between Atlanta-based vocalist and composer Hanna Benn (Son Lux, Boots) and percussionist, composer and producer Deantoni Parks (The Mars Volta, Sade, Flying Lotus).

Direct from its world premiere in the US Procession explores the spiritual and emotional core of ceremonial music in the form of a song cycle. Benn’s ethereal vocal textures are elevated by electronic flourishes and anchored by Parks’ ceaselessly kinetic rhythms. The pair will be accompanied by an ensemble of Australia’s finest players.
