Pasar Malam (Night Market): Artist Talks

Join artists exhibiting in Pasar Malam (Night Market) for an illuminating afternoon of talks amongst the large, screen-printed works in this immersive exhibition. Led by Malcolm Smith, co-founder of Krack Studio and Pasar Malam (Night Market) exhibition producer, these talks will explore how the transgressive and shadowy spaces within our communities have shaped the work of participating artists Rudi Hermawan, Tamarra, and Leyla Stevens. During this event, Tamarra will present a live performance that extends the themes explored in their Pasar Malam (Night Market) artwork Rajah (2024), inviting us into an intimate and immersive moment that blurs the boundary between artwork and action.

Pasar Malam (Night Market) is a Krack Studio exhibition in partnership with 16 Albermarle Project Space.

This project has been assisted by the Australian Government’s Visions of Australia program.

Please note: This program may involve moving from gallery to gallery. Stools will be available. All WFAC galleries are located on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible.
