Motivated by the vulnerability of Western Australia’s forests, this work is based on the Ludlow Tuart Forest in Capel. Pritchard experiments with a variety of materials, creating works which emulate textures from nature. The textures materials are temporarily positioned in the forest and photographed. This juxtaposition creates a relationship which is both real and false, heightened by an illusion.
