To celebrate the release of the pulsing new single Think Twice, Mojo Juju (VIC) hits the stage for an incomparable live show. As unpredictable and dynamic as ever, Mojo Juju trades the sounds that have long defined her for some energising new urban flavours, marking another stop on a musical odyssey from the Bayou to the heaving Nuyorican clubs of the ‘60s and ‘70s and the humidity of a Harlem summer. Juju draws on a heady mix of break beats, funk hooks, and hi-sheen pop, all locked into a groove that lifts up Juju’s political, rapid-fire lyrics.
