Emerging and established artists from across Australia are invited to enter the 48th Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre Print Award.

The biennale award celebrates the breadth, innovation and diversity of contemporary printmaking in Australia, with artists working across traditional, experimental and emerging approaches encouraged to enter.

Works may include etching, lino and woodcut, screen printing, digital printing, textile-based processes, artist books, 3D works and other innovative approaches to printmaking.

The Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre Print Award was founded in 1976 and is WFAC’s longest-running exhibition series and one of Australia’s major print awards. It was established by Ian Templeman to attract artists and audiences from across Australia to the then-new arts centre, and continues to provide a platform for artists expanding the possibilities of contemporary printmaking.
