To celebrate the opening weekend of Jila Kujarra: Two Snakes Dreaming and Tania Ferrier: Pop Porn, join us for an afternoon of artist talks 1pm, Sat 13 Aug.

Desmond Taylor and Mariaan Pugh will join FAC Curator Visual Arts Glenn Iseger-Pilkington in conversation, discussing their unique collaboration that resulted in Jila Kujarra: Two Snakes Dreaming.

Desmond will also speak to the Jukurrpa (Dreaming) narratives within the works, and custodianship of Country.

Following that, City of Fremantle Art Collection Curator Andre Lipscombe will lead a conversation with Tania Ferrier regarding the development of her Calendar Pop Porn print collage series and the conceptual links with her 1990s Angry Underwear project.
