Felting a Picture Scene

Get creative with colourful sheep’s wool and turn soft, fluffy fibres into your own little world. Create anything from favourite animals to dreamy landscapes, using water, wool and a bit of gentle rubbing to bring your design together.

Once your picture has taken shape, add simple stitched details to give it personality and bring it to life. A fun, tactile workshop where young creatives can experiment with colour, texture and their imagination.

What to bring:

• A water bottle and snack or lunchbox for longer classes
• A sunhat for any outdoor breaks
• All materials included.

What to wear:

• Closed toed shoes
• Clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Drop off and Pick Up:

• All parents/guardians need to drop off and pick up their child from the studio
• No students will be permitted to leave without written confirmation by a parent/guardian.

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
