Sensation and aesthetic dimensions of colour evoke a metaphysical and emotional response. Sensational presented a contemporary selection of painting and print media including acquisitions which harness the subtle and spectacular experience of colour phenomena. Afterimage, reflection, contrast and saturation were explored by Western Australian artists including Jeremy Kirwan-Ward, Eveline Kotai, Brian McKay, Mary Moore, Helen Smith, Alex Spremberg and Giles Hohnen.
