Great Big October Book Fest

Do you love books, bratwurst, brass and beer? Then Fremantle Press and FAC invite you to celebrate the Great Big October Book Fest!

Join City of Fremantle Hungerford Award winning author Holden Sheppard as he launches his highly anticipated book Invisible Boys, then stay on as we launch a bumper crop of new books by Megan Anderson (Word of Dog), Moira Court (Antarctica), Steve Hawke (Out of Time), Julia Lawrinson (Maddie in the Middle), Helen Milroy (Wombat, Mudlark and Other Stories), Philippa Nikulinsky (Nikulinsky Unfolded: Xanthorrhoea), H.M. Waugh (The Lost Stone of SkyCity), David Whish-Wilson (True West) and Anne-Louise Willoughby (Nora Heysen: A Portrait).

Drawing on the spirit of Oktoberfest, this will be a fun, family-friendly night of readings by your favourite local authors accompanied by music from the City of Perth Brass Band.
