Join Andrew Nicholls, guest curator of A Gentle Misinterpretation: Australian Artists and Chinoiserie for a tour of the exhibition. Andrew will share his insights into the practices and thematic enquiry of exhibiting artists whose works respond to chinoiserie, a highly problematic and kitsch appropriation of Asian cultures.

Following this, FAC Curator Glenn Iseger-Pilkington will lead a tour of Jila Kujarra: Two Snakes Dreaming. Learn more about the collaborative works of Desmond Taylor and Mariaan Pugh, and the Jukurrpa stories within the works.
