Benjamin Forster | )(

In his first solo exhibition in WA, Benjamin Forster’s installation )( utilises objects, images, books and video to investigate contemporary systems of rationality, the storage of information and the tenuous connection to ‘meaning’ and ‘value’.

 

Forster (WA/ACT) won the non-acquisitive 2010 Fremantle Arts Centre Print Award supported by Little Creatures Brewing. Forster is a recent graduate of the Australian National University in Canberra, and has participated in numerous Australian exhibitions and residencies, including Symbiotica and PICA in 2010, and FAC in 2010–11.
