Ever wanted to make your own clay bowl, pot, or cup? This fun and slightly messy workshop is the perfect way to try the pottery wheel, guided by experienced WA potter Finn Anderson.
All ceramic pieces will be glazed and fired at WFAC, ready for you to take home and enjoy on a later date.
What to bring:
- A water bottle and snack or lunchbox for longer classes
- A sunhat for any outdoor breaks
- All materials included.
What to wear:
- Closed toed shoes
- Clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
Drop off and Pick Up:
- All parents/guardians need to drop off and pick up their child from the studio
- No students will be permitted to leave without written confirmation by a parent/guardian.
Ceramics Collection:
- Please note ceramics works that need to be fired may take up to 4 weeks. We will notify you via email when your pieces are ready to collect.
Building Accessibility
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
