Afterschool Art Classes: Pop Art in Oils

Discover the exciting world of oil painting in Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre’s light-filled studio! Over six weeks you’ll create an oil painting based on a Pop Art collage (or photo of your choosing) while learning about the fundamentals of colour mixing, form, and tone.

Paint and canvas will be supplied making the introduction to the wonders of oil painting all the easier!

What to bring:

• A water bottle and snack or lunchbox for longer classes
• A sunhat for any outdoor breaks
• All materials included.

What to wear:

• Closed toed shoes
• Clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Drop off and Pick Up:

• All parents/guardians need to drop off and pick up their child from the studio
• No students will be permitted to leave without written confirmation by a parent/guardian.

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
