Loom of the Land: In Conversation

Hear from Western Australian photographer and artist Brad Rimmer, singer–songwriter Emily Barker, composer Mark Holdsworth, and exhibition season curator Abigail Moncrieff as they discuss the process of reactivating two isolated Wheatbelt town halls featured in Rimmer’s Nowhere Near photographic series, presented in the Loom of the Land exhibition.

Begin by immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of two newly commissioned moving-image and sound works. Then join the Loom of the Land artists and curator at 1.15pm sharp in the Wardong Gallery to learn more about how these site-specific musical compositions were conceived, written, and performed in situ by Emily and Mark.
