Beats for Bravery

Amnesty International Fremantle presents Beats for Bravery, a festival to celebrate brave Human Rights defenders, in FAC’s picturesque Inner Courtyard.

Kate Kelly, local conservationist and convenor of Save Beeliar Wetlands and its campaigns, will speak about her activist journey.

There will also be performances from talented local musicians Grievous Bodily Calm, Lucy Peach, Ru, Jack Davies and the Bush Chooks & Kaitlin Keegan.

An auction of works by prestigious artists will also take place on the evening. Participating artists include Jo Darbyshire, David Spencer Art, Rebecca Cool Art, Kate Floyd Art and Polly George by Holly O’Meehan, with more to be announced!

There will be opportunities to take action for Amnesty International’s BRAVE campaign, to defend those who fight for equality, justice and freedom.

This event is fully licensed. There will also be food trucks/vendors on-site. BYO Picnic or snacks.
