Artist in Residence | Open Studio

Dotted around the historic hallways of Fremantle Arts Centre are a number of artist studios – where our Artists in Residence spend their time honing their craft and developing new work.

On Sunday 24 April, we’re inviting the public in for a behind the scenes glimpse into our Studio Program.

You can see artworks at all stages of creation, meet a fascinating group of creatives and appreciate the diverse range of artistic practice fostered within FAC’s walls.

Participating Artists

  • Studio 2: Belle Palmer (ACT)
  • Studio 3: Sofie Burgoyne (WA)
  • Studio 4: Jess Miller (WA/UK)
  • Studio 9: Hannah Maling (WA)
  • Studio 8: Avi Amesbury (NSW)

FAC’s extensive studio program runs year-round and provides space for artists to develop new work, expand their practice and research new creative possibilities.

Pick up a map at reception to help you find each studio.

To find out more about each artist’s residency, visit the Studio Program page on our website.
