Throwing & Decorating for Teens – Two days

Spend time on the pottery wheel learning how to throw your own bowls or cups. Once your pieces are made, you’ll decorate them with texture and glaze to add your own style.

All work will be kiln-fired at WFAC. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.

What to bring:

• A water bottle and snack or lunchbox for longer classes
• A sunhat for any outdoor breaks
• All materials included.

What to wear:

• Closed toed shoes
• Clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Drop of and Pick Up:

• All parents/guardians need to drop off and pick up their child from the studio
• No students will be permitted to leave without written confirmation by a parent/guardian.

Ceramics Collection:

• Please note ceramics works that need to be fired may take up to 4 weeks. We will notify you via email when your pieces are ready to collect!

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
