Screenprinting and Beyond with Angela Ferolla
Join the fun and vibrant Angela Ferolla in this dynamic course exploring the endless possibilities of screenprinting on fabric. Learn hands-on techniques including photographic screenprinting, stencil-making, layering, and colour mixing to create bold, high-quality prints.
You’ll also explore designing imagery for print, mastering composition, experimenting with placement, and trying loose repeat printing — all in a supportive, creative environment. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to bring your fabric designs to life in colourful, playful, and professional ways.
Materials:
- A materials fee is included in the cost of the course
- Calico/test material will be provided
- All additional fabric to be supplied by student (not needed for first class)
What to bring:
- Notebook & pen
- Apron
- Sketchbook (A4 or A5)
- Pencil, eraser, sharpener
- An old towel
- Sketches and ideas, photos, magazines, books, anything that inspires you
- Students must wear appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes and tie up long hair for safety reasons
Building Accessibility
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
