Painting Studio
Explore new ways of seeing and painting in this dynamic studio course with artist Joss Gregson. Through a range of projects, you’ll move between observing the world around you and responding to your own ideas, thoughts, and intuition.
Using acrylic paints, you’ll develop your understanding of composition and how to organise a visual field, alongside exploring colour theory and more expressive approaches to using colour in your work. Unexpected starting points and creative prompts will push your practice in new directions, including a guided session working from a model.
Suitable for those looking to expand their painting approach, this course offers a supportive space to experiment, take creative risks, and develop a more personal visual language.
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
