About the class

Create your own Alpha60-inspired dress in just one day! In this hands-on workshop with tutor Roberta Leary, you’ll sew the elegant Alessi Bias Dress—a pullover style with a high, round neckline, visible self-binding, and the flattering drape of a bias cut. Designed by Tessuti Fabrics, this versatile pattern is perfect for both casual and dressier occasions and can be easily layered for year-round wear.

Not only will you finish the day with a stylish, wearable garment made by you for you—but you’ll also gain practical sewing skills, an understanding of bias-cut construction, and the confidence to recreate the dress again and again at home. You’ll leave with your completed dress, a copy of the pattern, and the know-how to start making your own wardrobe staples.

Choose your own fabric and enjoy the process of making something unique and personal, all in a supportive and creative environment.
