Make a Bee Bath for a Younger Kid and Adult

Buzz into creativity with this fun, hands-on ceramics workshop. Kids and adults will work together to hand-build a beautiful bee bath, a small water dish to help our buzzing friends stay hydrated in the garden. You’ll learn simple clay-building techniques to shape and decorate your piece then add colourful glazes before it’s kiln-fired and ready to take home.

Note: This class is designed for 1 adult & 1 child to attend together: one enrolment is for both attendees and children must attend with an adult. If more than one child is attending, each child must be accompanied by their own adult.

What to bring:

• A water bottle and snack or lunchbox for longer classes
• A sunhat for any outdoor breaks
• All materials included.

What to wear:

• Closed toed shoes
• Clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Drop of and Pick Up:

• This class is designed for 1 adult & 1 child to attend together: one enrolment is for both attendees and children must attend with an adult. If more than one child is attending, each child must be accompanied by their own adult.

Ceramics Collection:

• Please note ceramics works that need to be fired may take up to 4 weeks. We will notify you via email when your pieces are ready to collect!

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
