Jewellery and Design Techniques Intensive

About the class

In this intensive class, dive into the world of contemporary jewellery design. Learn how to create shapes, forms, and different dimensions with metal. Solder, file, and texture surfaces to bring your jewellery creations to life.

Through hands-on instruction and guidance, you’ll explore the techniques that make contemporary jewellery truly unique, from conceptual design to the final product.

What to bring

• Notebook & pen
• Apron
• Any jewellery making tools (if you have them)
• Projects you are currently working on (optional)
• Students will be required to source and purchase their own silver/items needed for individual designs
• Should you need, Bezel Ring Kits are available to purchase for $20 through reception at the Fremantle Arts Centre. These will be available throughout the term.

Students must wear appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes and tie up long hair for safety reasons

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
