Discover the rich, vibrant world of oil painting in this 3-week beginner-friendly course with artist Symone Ishak. Explore essential techniques such as colour mixing, brushwork, layering, and glazing, while learning how to bring your own ideas to life on canvas.

Through guided exercises and hands-on practice, you’ll develop confidence with materials and build a foundation to continue your painting journey. Whether you’re new to oils or looking to refresh your skills, this course offers a supportive, creative environment to experiment and express yourself.

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
