About this Summer Special

In this one-day workshop you will hand-build your own piece from clay, whether it’s an amphora, a pot, a platter, or another vessel of your choice.

Dee will guide you through shaping, texturing and finishing your work, encouraging you to explore form, surface and your own creative style. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience, this relaxed and hands-on session is a great opportunity to create something beautiful you can take home and enjoy.

Summer Specials at Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre

This Birak season, our Summer Specials invite you to slow down, get creative and connect with your community at Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre. They’re perfect for trying something new, exploring your creativity and making art in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time, it’s the perfect opportunity to discover something new and be part of our creative community.

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.

We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
