Gelli Print in a Day – Intermediate/Advanced

With Vanessa Lombardo

About this Class

Take your Gelli Printing further in this immersive full-day workshop designed for those who already have some experience with the process. Building on the fundamentals, you’ll explore more advanced techniques for creating rich, layered monoprints with greater depth, texture, and complexity.

Through guided demonstrations and hands-on experimentation, you’ll develop more control over layering, transparency, and composition while learning additional techniques to expand your creative possibilities. The workshop will also explore processes such as laser transfers, creating and using your own stencils, and methods for building intricate and dynamic printed surfaces.

This relaxed yet exploratory session encourages playful experimentation while helping you refine your approach and push your prints in new directions.

Led by artist and printmaker Vanessa Lombardo, this workshop is ideal for those who have completed the beginner class or have some familiarity with Gelli Printing and are ready to deepen their practice.

Building Accessibility

We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.

Should you, or the person you are enrolling for, have any other additional requirements, please include these details when booking. Should you wish to chat to one of our friendly team, feel free to contact Reception on 9432 9555 or email ArtsCentre@fremantle.wa.gov.au to discuss any individual needs.
