Students will use colourful sheep’s wool to create their own picture scene, anything from animals to magical landscapes. With a little water and gentle rubbing, the fibres will mat together in a process called wet felting.
To finish, simple stitched details will be added to bring each artwork to life. A fun, hands-on workshop perfect for young creatives!
What to bring:
- A water bottle and snack or lunchbox for longer classes
- A sunhat for any outdoor breaks
- All materials included.
What to wear:
- Closed toed shoes
- Clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
Drop of and Pick Up:
- All parents/guardians need to drop off and pick up their child from the studio
- No students will be permitted to leave without written confirmation by a parent/guardian.
Building Accessibility
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
