Learn a number of simple hand-building techniques to create fantasy creatures and animals on their very own clay island, from pinch pots and slab rolling to sculptural detailing. You’ll explore how to shape expressive features, add texture and pattern, and bring personality to your pieces through imaginative design. Once your forms are complete, experiment with colourful glazes to enhance details, create depth, and make your creations truly one of a kind.

All pieces will be fired and clear glazed at WFAC.

What to bring:

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.

We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
