About the class
Discover the vibrant art of enamelling with Claire Townsend! In this hands-on course, students will explore the process of fusing glass to metal, learning a variety of techniques to create unique and colourful surfaces. Develop essential enamelling skills such as sifting, stencilling, and mark-making while experimenting with texture, layering, and composition.
This course will introduce a range of technical processes that bring metalwork to life with luminous colour. Students will have the opportunity to apply their skills to small jewellery pieces like pendants or earrings, guided by expert instruction.
Experienced students can also work with Claire to go beyond enamelling and try out new techniques and designs together!
Please wear closed toe shoes.
