Cartoon Creators – Tuesday 14 July

Get ready to create your own awesome cartoon characters and bring them to life. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll use bold felt-tip markers and big poster paper to experiment with lines, shapes, and expressive mark-making. With guidance from artist Ben Crappsley, you’ll learn how to build characters full of personality and action and take home your very own cartoon creations.

What to bring:

• A water bottle and snack or lunchbox for longer classes
• A sunhat for any outdoor breaks
• All materials included.

What to wear:

• Closed toed shoes
• Clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Drop off and Pick Up:

• All parents/guardians need to drop off and pick up their child from the studio
• No students will be permitted to leave without written confirmation by a parent/guardian.

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
