Discover the joys of painting with acrylics. Learn about colour, texture, shape and tone and how to combine these elements while developing your own style.

Explore this medium in a relaxed and encouraging setting through a number of exercises guided by your tutor. Learn to problem solve and enjoy the flow of painting. Suitable for beginners or those wishing to continue painting with expert guidance from Leslee Rowlands.

Acrylic paints and some brushes provided, but if you have your own paints and materials, it is encouraged you bring them along.

What to bring:

• Notebook
• 2 x jars with lids
• Clean rags
• Apron
• Canvas/boards will be discussed in the first class
• Further materials may be required throughout the course

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
