We’ve been working together with our neighbours at John Curtin College of the Arts and are excited to be kicking off a parking trial to hopefully lighten the load for our WFAC member art class students.

Starting in 2026, we’ll be trialling shared use of the John Curtin College of the Arts grassed student parking area, with entrance off Vale/Finnerty Street. This trial will run 2 February to 30 March 2026 throughout Term 1, with the option to extend if it’s successful.

How it will work

• WFAC members can access the designated parking area for the duration of their WFAC class using a printed permit.
• You may park 15–30 minutes before and after your class. If your class runs a little overtime that’s absolutely fine. Please just avoid using the area for extended parking or visits to Fremantle outside your class times.
• John Curtin students use the area for their student parking, so please avoid arriving too early and taking the place of a John Curtin Student before school begins.
• At times, the school may need the full parking area when they have exams or special events. If signage is displayed or if otherwise advised by a John Curtin staff member, or communicated ahead of time, please respect this and use alternative parking for that day.
• To receive your permit, visit WFAC reception before your class commences.
• No WFAC students to park in this area without a permit. This area will be monitored to ensure the success of the trial.
