Silver Jewellery Saturdays with Nicole Kelly (nee Lance)
About the class
This hands-on course is perfect for beginners as well as those with some prior jewellery-making experience. Over 8 weeks, you’ll learn to design and fabricate your own unique stack ring set using traditional silversmithing techniques.
Explore creative possibilities with granulation, doming, texturing, and bezel setting. Your three-ring stack can include a combination of textured bands, domed forms, and one ring featuring a bezel-set stone. You’ll also have the opportunity to add your own creative elements to make your set truly one of a kind.
Learn essential skills such as soldering, forming, doming, bezel setting, sanding, and polishing, all at your own pace, with guidance tailored to your experience level.
By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with a beautifully crafted, personalised ring stack and a solid foundation in jewellery fabrication.
Building Accessibility
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
