Silver Jewellery in a Day with Alida Cappelletta

About the class

In this fun and fast-paced workshop, you'll learn essential introductory jewellery-making skills while creating your very own unique silver wave bangle and matching ring to take home.

Perfect for beginners or those with some prior experience, this course introduces key techniques such as soldering, shaping, hammering, and the anticlastic forming method—used to create elegant, flowing curves in metal. You’ll also explore surface finishes, including oxidisation, to give your piece character and depth.

Leave with new skills, a deeper appreciation for handmade jewellery, and a beautiful set of wearable pieces you crafted yourself.

Building Accessibility

Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.

We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
