Introduction to Landscape Painting with Joss Gregson

Coming Soon

About the class

Discover the essentials of landscape painting in this welcoming course designed for absolute beginners. Guided by artist Joss Gregson, you’ll be introduced to the fundamental skills and techniques needed to start painting confidently in acrylics.

Learn how to create depth and distance using atmospheric perspective, build strong compositions, and understand the basics of colour theory to mix naturalistic tones. Through step-by-step demonstrations and guided practice, you’ll explore how to paint skies, clouds, hills, rocks, trees, grass, and more.

If you are picking up the brush for the first time, this course offers a supportive space to learn, experiment, and enjoy the process of painting the landscape. More experienced and still want to come along? Joss is happy for intermediate and more experienced painters to come along too!
