Expressive Life Drawing Skills with Ben Crappsley
About the class
This course offers a fresh and expressive approach to life drawing. Working with a nude figure model, you'll explore dynamic mark-making using graphite sticks on A2 cartridge paper, while building confidence in tone, line control, and composition. You'll learn to see the figure through shape, movement, and spatial relationships, helping you develop a more personal and creative drawing style. Ideal for those wanting to deepen their life drawing practice and explore new techniques in a supportive environment.
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty!
Materials including cartridge paper, graphite blocks, and basic drawing suppliers are included in the cost of the course. Any additional materials can be brought along as desired!
Building Accessibility
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
