Explore the exciting world of silver jewellery making in this hands-on course with experienced jeweller Kate Sale. Designed for beginners and those wanting to build on existing skills, this course introduces a range of fundamental techniques including sawing, soldering, filing, texturing, and bezel setting.
You’ll learn to:

- Create pieces such as rings, earrings, or pendants

What to bring
- Most of the materials are included in the course fee.
- We will guide you on any additional supplies you may need to purchase as the course progresses.
- Should you need, Bezel Ring Kits are available to purchase for $20 through reception at the Fremantle Arts Centre. These will be available throughout the term.
Building Accessibility
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.

Tutor Kate Sale
Kate studied Jewellery at NMIT in Melbourne. She enjoys using traditionally taught jewellery techniques but pushes the boundaries to create modern, unique and very colourful pieces.
