Refine your jewellery-making skills and expand your technical knowledge in this advanced silver jewellery course.
Designed for students with prior experience, this class offers a combination of guided instruction and independent project work.
Learn new techniques through demonstrations tailored to student requests, from advanced soldering and stone setting to cold joining and texturing methods.
With expert guidance from Claire Townsend, you’ll gain confidence in your craftsmanship and take your designs to the next level.
What to bring:
- Notebook & pen
- Apron
- Any jewellery-making tools you have
- Current projects (optional)
- Small found objects (buttons, pebbles, etc.) (optional)
- Students will need to source and purchase silver or additional materials for individual designs
- Appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, and tied-back hair are required for safety
Should you need, Bezel Ring Kits are available to purchase for $20 through reception at the Fremantle Arts Centre. These will be available throughout the term.
Prerequisites
Completion of at least a beginner-level jewellery-making course.
