2025 Show Time Series: Get Dressed with Alexander and Neo Beetle
WFAC is excited to announce the eighth Show Time in our series of ongoing free creative programs for families, inspired by the current exhibition Objet d’Art - Theo Koning and his Creative Self - Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre, thanks to the continued support of our official partner Community Bank – Fremantle – Bendigo Bank.
Immerse yourself in the playful world of Theo Koning's creative practice in this collaborative workshop and spend the morning with Alexander and Neo using re-used and re-cycled materials and the craft objects you can find around your own home.
We'll be using one of Theo's very own Blank Figure drawings on a massive A2 scale to explore, play and create unique and extraordinary outfits on a massive scale inspired by Theo's publication with Art Collective WA, Get Dressed, and learning skills to keep creating artworks inspired by Theo's brilliant approach to making.
Places are limited to ten families of any size (one enrolment per family). Children must attend with an adult.
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. There are no lift facilities within the main building, and our Painting Studio is only accessible via stairs and features dark flooring with a combination of natural and fluorescent lighting.
We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
