World Building for 10 – 12 Year Olds: Two Day Workshop with Amy Perejuan-Capone
What do Pokémon, Marvel, Minecraft, Fortnite, Harry Potter or Narnia have in common? They are all set in a complex imaginary world!
We all love to escape to these fantasy places and explore the magic they hold. In this extended workshop over two days, we will build imaginary worlds and populate them with their own special fantasy creatures, landscapes, and character backstories!
Ten, eleven and twelve year olds will be guided through traditional processes like drawing, model making, and creative writing to build their very own imaginary universe, and can use the material they create as in their very own role-playing games afterwards.
Information for Parents:-

- All tutors and WFAC Kids’ Classes staff hold valid Working with Children Checks
Building Accessibility
Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre is a heritage-listed building with access limitations. While there are no lift facilities within the main building, the ceramics studio is wheelchair accessible.
We acknowledge these limitations and are committed to improving accessibility where possible. We continue to explore ways to make our programs more inclusive and encourage you to reach out if you have any questions.
